Reporting into the Manufacturing Quality Manager and within the Manufacturing Quality Team you will ensure all quality standards are met for both manufactured and purchased products in accordance with approved design data (drawings), technical specifications and BoM’s.
  
Key Responsibilities;

  • Comply with the requirements defined by the Quality Management System in line with company objectives.
  • Inspect incoming goods or FAI as required.
  • Monitor internal reworks (as necessary) to the required quality standards.
  • Liaise with the production teams, supporting and promoting quality improvement activities.
  • Support quality issue resolution activity in the production areas and provide support for AIRBUS NC/CAPA analysis.
  • Final Inspection of Seats and completion of FIS’s and ATP’s.
  • Prepare Seats for Customer FAI.
  • Source inspection in support of customer requirements.
  • Manage rejects/QC hold on shop floor.
  • Raise NCRs.
  • Contribute to trend analysis and line audit.
  • Release of product on EASA Form 1 as required.

  
To be successful in this position you will have/be;

  • Previous experience within a similar role.
  • Good level of understanding of Acro Cosmetic guidelines.
  • A working knowledge of First Article Inspection requirements (AS9102) is desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (both verbal and written), with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Understanding and experience of the NCR and MRB processes is desirable.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Diligent, enthusiastic and driven, with an excellent work ethic, and a “can do” attitude.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure, prioritise and manage conflicting demands.
  • Highly adaptable and capable of making decisions in a fast and pressured environment.

To be successful in this position you will have/be;

  • BA or BSC Computing degree or similar, or relevant practical experience
  • Ability to write advanced MS SQL statements and stored procedures is essential.
  • Extensive experience of SQL server environments
  • Advanced SAP Crystal Reporting knowledge is required.
  • Strong exposure to Microsoft Excel
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential
  • Knowledge of ERP system functionality and Supply Chain processes is preferred

Planning and Control

  • You will oversee all planning related activities for the Operations teams, being responsible for ensuring that Acro Operations teams are equipped with and using the management information they need to run their areas effectively and efficiently. This will include the Master Production Schedule as well as Forecast, Demand and Capacity planning for both people and parts.

Materials Supply

  • You will ensure that parts, sub-assemblies and other materials are delivered to the line on-time and just in time. This will involve overseeing the Purchasing and Goods-in teams and liaising closely with the Supply Chain team and Production teams. You’ll need to balance supply chain risks with the cost of held inventory, handling and other logistics costs

Database Management

  • You will oversee the management of the MRP/ERP system and underlying database to ensure all data is secure and up to date and that the system delivers fit for purpose process automation.

To be successful in this position you will have/be;

  • A strong people leader capable of running multiple teams, driving change and fostering a continuous improvement culture.
  • Fanatical about data, metrics and management information. You will know how to distil complex data into insightful business intelligence. You’ll understand how data science and complex analysis can contribute to business success.

Key Responsibilities;

  • Take technical ownership for the assigned seating modules and scope out requirements and targets for the project.
  • Developing composite products from concept through to certification and production readiness.
  • Creating new ideas and investigating alternative materials and manufacturing processes that will always consider weight, cost, robustness and the assembly process.
  • Verifying designs through calculations and key analysis to validate the product effectively.
  • Determine and manage priorities, timescales and deadlines and suggest solutions when at risk of deviating from original plans.
  • To manage and delegate tasks to junior engineering team members. 

To be successful in this position you will have; 

  • A Mechanical Engineering degree and significant post graduate experience.
  • Previous experience of working within an aerospace or automotive environment desirable.
  • Strong experience in the use of CAD for product design engineering – Catia V5 preferred but not essential.
  • The ability to undertake fundamental engineering hand calculations including stress analysis.
  • Experience of product evaluation and structural testing to validate the product against the targets set.
  • Experience in design and development of composite structures.
  • Sufficient exposure to the latest manufacturing techniques such as composites, injection mouldings, vacuum forming, castings, forgings, extrusions and machined from solid.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build relationships cross functionally within the business and when mentoring other team members.
  • The ability to adapt within a fast and pressured and deadline driven environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Work in partnership with other departments to ensure materials availability throughout the business.
  • Attend production meetings as required.
  • Provide materials availability data for use with production planning.
  • Identify, rectify and/or escalate identified issues to minimise impact to the business.
  • Assist with improving and simplifying methods of working, procedures and systems.

To be successful in this position you will have/be;

  • Experience of working as an Expeditor or a similar role within a manufacturing environment is desirable.

Reporting to the Head of FP&A, as the Finance Business Partner to Commercial and Production, you will provide support and challenge to the seat and spares sales and production teams and be the key link between them ensuring alignment to support customer deliverables. You will assist with the formulation of Pricing Strategy across all sales, assist in the preparation of Commercial Bids, and support the Bid Manager. You will understand Sales and Margin, including warranties, explaining results and comparing them against set targets and outside sources and be a driving force for change to improve future results. You will drive best use of our current systems and assist with improvements to drive our understanding of sales management and production performance.
 
Key Responsibilities;
 
Business Partnering;

  • Maintain and develop KPIs and other metrics
  • Budgeting & forecasting
  • Develop reporting and tracking of initiatives
  • Bringing information to life
  • Support weekly departmental meetings

Commercial Bids and Pricing;

  • Assisting and reviewing with pricing proposals and contracts
  • Support with the development of pricing strategy
  • Maintain pricing models for seats and spares
  • Develop reporting around bids/pipeline and market share

Orders, Sales, Warranty, Margin & Competitor/Market Analysis;

  • Develop weekly sales reporting to inform all areas of the business

Direct Labour and Shop floor Analysis;

  • Develop reporting and analysis of direct labour including future capacity/demand
  • Explain variances to budget/forecast

 To be successful in this position you will have/be;

  • A qualified Accountant, preferably CIMA.
  • Previous experience within a Commercial Finance role, preferably within Manufacturing and/or Engineering environments.
  • Prior experience with pricing and labour models, CRM and IT systems.
  • Advanced Excel Skills to include Financial Modelling.
  • Excellent inter-personal, verbal and written communications skills.
  • A forward thinker, with the ability to understand detail, summarise and tell the story, applying lessons to future planning to ensure a better outcome in the future.
  • Diligent, with excellent planning, personal time management and organisation skills.
